The Pearl Fishers is a steamy tale of tightly woven friendship, loyalty and forbidden love. Written by the composer of Carmen, Bizet's The Pearl Fishers transports the audience to the shores of Ceylon where they will witness a passionate love triangle in visual and dramatic spectacle created by famed designer Zandra Rhodes. Acclaimed soprano Maureen O'Flynn returns to FGO in the role of Leila. American tenor William Burden sings the role of Nadir.
